The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other national data protection laws is:

2. Core Principle: Offline Operation

Peavio is a fully offline app. It does not transmit any personal data to external servers, third parties or cloud services. There are no user accounts, no registration and no login required.

3. Location and Sensor Data

Peavio requires access to the following device sensors:

All sensor data is processed exclusively on your device. It is not stored, not logged and never transmitted to third parties. Saved waypoints remain exclusively local in the app and are not synchronized.

4. App Store and Apple Services

Peavio is distributed via the Apple App Store. When downloading and using the App Store, Apple Inc.'s privacy policy applies. We have no influence over this data processing. Apple may collect technical data (e.g. device identifiers, crash reports) through the App Store.

5. Siri and App Intents

Peavio supports Siri Shortcuts via the Apple App Intents Framework. The processing of Siri voice commands is handled by Apple. Peavio does not transmit any of its own data – only the shortcuts you yourself have saved are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies.

6. No Analytics, No Tracking

Peavio does not use any analytics tools, tracking software, advertising networks or third-party SDKs. No usage profiles are created and no usage data is shared with third parties. There is no in-app advertising.

7. This Website (peavio.de)

This website operates without cookies, without tracking and without analytics tools. No personal data is collected or stored. When you visit the website, technical access data (IP address, browser type, time) may be briefly stored in the server log of the hosting provider. We do not have direct access to this data and it is not evaluated.

8. Your Rights

Since neither the app nor this website collects or stores personal data, requests under Art. 15–22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection) are generally moot.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority. In Bavaria, this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
